Judge the Symposium Talks for 2018

Are you curious about what UCI graduate students spend all their time working on?

Have you ever found research talks to be over-technical and hard to understand?

This is your opportunity to help promote public-friendly research presentations and learn about important work being done by UCI graduate students.

The talks at the AGS Symposium are aimed at a general audience, and we will award cash prizes to speakers with the most accessible and interesting presentations. Volunteer to be a judge and help decide who are the best speakers! No technical background needed!

In case if you want your info to be added to the website, you can send your name, picture, and your bio to ccd@ags.uci.edu

You can see a list of last year’s presentation sessions here.

Note: Undergraduate and graduate students, UCI or otherwise, are not eligible to be judges, but are still very much welcome to attend the talks.

Deadline for submitting the application to become a judge was on March 25th, 2018!
