Elizabeth Kim

Elizabeth Kim completed her B.A. in
English Literature at Wellesley College and received her
Ed.M. in Human Development & Psychology at Harvard
Graduate School of Education. Her academic interests
include children’s conformity to others’ opinions,
particularly with regard to moral reasoning and in various
cultural contexts. She has worked at Harvard Medical
School/Children’s Hospital Boston projects on ADHD
and Dyslexia, MIT’s Imagination Toolbox Educational
Software Lab, the Task Force for Global Education at
the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, and conducted
research in South Korea as a Fulbright researcher.
Current research projects focus on understanding how
children make moral judgments under social pressure and
cross-cultural comparisons of parenting in U.S. and Singaporean
